New Pitch

As part of the 2025 budget, the District of Squamish approved the construction of a cricket pitch at Brennan Park, an exciting milestone for our club and the local cricket community.This project is made possible thanks to the generous support of our club members, the District of Squamish, the Whistler Blackcomb Foundation, the Squamish Community Foundation, and Woodfibre LNG.We are working closely with district staff to ensure the pitch is completed by fall 2025, bringing the joy of cricket to the Sea to Sky region just in time for the 2026 season.

Introducing the First Ever Sea 2 Sky Cricket Clash
Date: June 22, 2025
Location: Brennan Park, Squamish
Cash Prize: $500 for the Champions
Team Size: 8 players
Format: 6-Over, tennis ball tournament

Youth Program

Join us for our summer season! We’ll be running sessions every Monday from June 16th to Aug 25th.Cost: $50 for the full season or $10 per session for drop-ins.
Equipment: All gear is provided!

We recently delivered introductory cricket sessions at Howe Sound Secondary School. If you or your child enjoyed these sessions and are interested in playing more cricket, please complete the membership form below. (A guardian's signature is required for participants under 19.)Join us for additional free coaching sessions every Friday at 5:30 PM at Brennan Park, starting June 13.*Please note: When Brennan Park is unavailable, we may train at the Howe Sound Sports Field. Our Club

Everyone's welcome!

In the summer of 2021, Rudi Botha, Taurean McCarthy, and Ben Cole founded the Squamish Cricket Club (SCC) after discussing the lack of cricket opportunities in Squamish.Despite the challenges of starting with no funding, the club quickly gained momentum, launching a website, team app, and attracting players by early 2022. Training began in April, and the club received attention from local and provincial news outlets.In May 2022, SCC became a sustaining member of Cricket BC, and entrepreneur Channi Sodhi joined as the fourth director. The club’s membership grew, and they played their inaugural game, winning against West Vancouver. Their first season finished with a 2-4 record.In 2025, the club is working to secure its own pitch to achieve full membership in the BCMCL and host teams in Squamish.
